A Note from Our Founder
My name is Ella, and I am the founder of Ellavate Charity Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization based in DC. I am excited to share that Ellavate Charity Foundation will be hosting its 2nd Annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser on June 21st, 2025 to raise funds for HBCU scholarships and programming to support professionals from underrepresented backgrounds.
About ECF
Ellavate Charity Foundation’s mission is to champion empowerment and equity for early career professionals from underrepresented backgrounds. At ECF, we want to empower underrepresented professionals to explore the benefits of the golf space.
Why Golf?
I’m not a golfer (and neither is anyone on my ECF team)... but I recognize the strategic value of golf in the workplace.
⛳️ 90% of Fortune 500 CEOs play golf.
⛳️ 80% of executives say playing golf enables them to establish new business relationships.
⛳️ Yet in 2020, only 19.8% of golfers were non-white.
Our organization is looking for businesses or individuals who may be interested in partnering with us by sponsoring the tournament or donating in-kind gifts.
